Kimball & Bean Architectural and Garden Antiques

Kimball & Bean is located in Woodstock, IL. Though surrounded by houses, it has country charm as the items it sells are located in an old barn. We stopped by in the middle of May and the proprietors said they were just getting set up for the summer. They also have a web-site where they sell things, but I just checked it out and upon clicking on different items found most had a "sold" sign next to them. If they took the items marked sold off their list, there wouldn't be too many items to choose from. In its May 11, 2011, newsletter it says it was just unpacking, and to stop by at their location to see what they have.

What they have, however, is very expensive stuff so if you plan on buying bring several of your credit cards. For example a pair of vintage cast stone garden benches go for $2,800. And a little cast iron frog fountain head goes for $850.00. And they only have one left, so you better hurry over if you want it!
PS. If I had $3,650, I'd rather spend it on perennials. Wow, can you imagine how many plants you could get for $3,650.00?
Wanda's frog fountain head. Paid $6.00

Vintage (22 years) stone/cement/whatever bench.
Purchased at hardware store end-of-year sale for $30.00
