Glorious Tulips Spring Brightly

Spring without tulips is well...not actually spring.  As far as the ten packages I planted last fall, 50 percent were chewed down by deer. I was pretty certain that if planted close to the house they'd be safe. I guess I should have planted them in the living room. Anyway, some gardeners are very successful at planting glorious displays of tulips that somehow the deer have not managed to find and destroy.
