Ferns look great in any planter.
Substitute this expensive version sold at just about any big-box garden center. 

Last year they had benches covered with grass and the table set for dinner.

This year instead of plates you can just pick and tear the lettuce apart right from the table,
except you can't because it's obviously just to look at.
