Volunteer Gardeners at Grant Park

Here are pictures of the Second Annual “Garden with Growing Power” in Grant Park on Wednesday, May 1.

Volunteers had the opportunity to help the community, to learn about growing food, and to get some exercise! Over 150 varieties of heirloom vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers are grown at the Grant Park urban farm in the heart of downtown Chicago adjacent to Buckingham Fountain.
