Little Stiletto Boot Birdhouse

Great idea for leftover boot though this one hardly looks old. How many birds want to live in an old shoe? The day I was observing, not any, but it may grow on them eventually.

Master Gardener's hand-crafted birdhouses.  So many choices. How do they choose?
Keep it simple. Outside uncovered lodging on the trees
or covered inside housing surrounded by lush fern garden.
Home contractor built--Really!

Wanda's garden. The perfect cozy bird home.
More than ten wren broods have been born here over five years. The female lays two per

season (approximately April to July) producing around six or seven chicks each time.
The most interesting fact is that male wrens build
several different nests and the female picks the one she prefers!
Bought at flea market from birdhouse crafter.
Wanda's button and bead birdhouse.
Easy weekend-winter project. Just paint wood and
glue on the buttons and beads.
No vacancies.
