Swimming Pools for Plants

...or in other words, water container gardening. Tired of watering--97 degrees predicted for today's weather--then plant your plants in water. I recycled a terra-cotta pot I used last year. Added low-maintenance plants. Just add water as needed: did not use any pump or filtration. For more info on "pool" gardening, see Water Gardening in Containers: Small Ponds & Out. Can find on e-Bay or Amazon. Description: "Just because you don't have room for a full-scale pond doesn't mean you can't enjoy a water garden--all it takes is practically any container and as few as five minutes a week."

Here's the pot before water plants were added.
