The front yard is a garden menagerie filled with Mexican hand-made metal lawn creatures: pigs (yes, I found my pig replacement!) dinosaurs, chickens, cows, horses, whales, alligators, birds.
The proprietor, Ginger, welcomed our group, pointed out the sites, and offered us cookies and coffee. I am sure a more attractive time to go would be in the summer when all of those huge gorgeous clay pots are planted with flowers, but even on a windy 50 degree day that blew over all the creatures, we still spent a couple of hours browsing despite our cold feet. You really need to check out the website for complete information and descriptions on products.
One more thing: I am not sure how long this place will be here, or if there will be places in the future that are locally owned and as individualistic as Ginger Blossom, so let’s support it by buying something there instead of Wal-Mart!
