Geneva Garden Club Walk, Geneva, IL

You don't have to pay for a garden walk to see these beautiful plantings any time of the year. This is located at Geneva River Park, 151 N. River Lane along the banks of the Fox River in downtown Geneva. There are native plantings with prairie, savanna and shoreline ecosystems steps away from paths, benches and an outdoor amphitheater.

One note on the timing of this walk.  Blooming for a lot of perennials is around 2nd week in July--I think a later date would have produced more blooms and more interest throughout the private gardens. This walk was on June 16 and June 17.
