We've had this driveway since 2009 and most people who commented on it and wrote me questions were pretty doubtful it was something that would work on their own driveway. Let me say this first: I absolutely "love" it. That being said, it'd work much better if your driveway wasn't on a slope. The granite slides with heavy rains. Shoveling it back up to cover the bald areas is quite high maintenance. However, on the flat areas, it is fine--meaning no shifting of rocks. It stays in place remarkably well. After a rain, it looks pristine and fresh. Of course, plantings on the side also help to make it attractive. If you have the guts, I highly recommend transforming your black asphalt driveway!
