This family of Sandhill Cranes came for a visit to our garden last August. Notice how the mom and baby start out and the dad tries to catch up at the end. Not sure what happened, but he gets along fine with his broken foot or whatever is the cause for his limp. Alas, haven't seen them yet this year.
